摘要:本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,本文选取13届全国初中英语教学示范课中的8个示范课,对学生在英语课堂上的活动进行了研究。采用课堂观察法进行研究。

本文是一篇初中英语教学论文,作者从三种活动的比例、三种活动的子类型、学生参与三个方面进行了研究,并得出了相应的结论。本章将从四个方面进行阐述:研究的主要发现、研究的意义、研究的局限性和进一步研究的建议。


Chapter 1 Introduction



1.1 Background of the Study

With the rapid development of society and globalization, English learning isbecoming more and more extensive. With the gradual deepening of compulsoryeducation curriculum reform, junior high school English classroom teaching has alsobeen reformed and improved. In addition to cultivating students’ language use,thinking and cognitive ability, it is also necessary to help students shape healthycharacter and promote their all-round development. Therefore, it is very necessaryand important to vigorously cultivate junior high school students’ English corecompetence. The English core competence proposed in the English CurriculumStandard for the Senior High School (2017 Edition) has become the goal of Englishteaching in the new era. In this context, English teaching in middle schools in Chinahas higher requirements on students’ English learning ability. The new curriculumreform also promotes the change of teaching mode, and takes “developing students’English core competence” as the key point of curriculum reform in China. Classroomteaching based on “English core competence” must change from “passive learning”to “active learning”. In practical teaching, “active learning” pays attention to thelearning process of students and their participation in classroom activities. Inaddition, in order to achieve the goal of cultivating students’ core competence,Chinese experts put forward the Perspective of Activity-based Learning, whichmakes it clear that activities are the main way for learners to learn and try to uselanguage to understand and express meaning, construct cultural awareness, developthinking quality and form learning ability. At present, the influence of English CoreCompetence and the Perspective of Activity-based Learning has been involved inmiddle school English teaching, and more and more middle school English teachersbegin to take them as their teaching guiding ideology.

1.2 Aims of the Research

Exemplary Lessons are lessons carefully created by a team of teachers with richteaching experience. It has the characteristics of integrity, systematization,coherence , coordination and innovation. The study of exemplary lessons has certainguidance for normal English teaching. On the basis of reading and consultingrelevant materials, this study will adopt classroom observation method, and select thevideo of the 13th National Junior Middle School English Exemplary Class in 2019for observation. The purpose of this paper is to observe and sort out English classroom activities in junior high school, record the types and numbers of students’participation in English classroom activities, and make statistics on the data, so as tocompare the balance of various English classroom activities. Through theobservation of students’ participation, this paper will analyze the current situation ofstudents’ activities in class, and put forward feasible suggestions for the design anddevelopment of English classroom activities in the future.
